The Champions Cup

The Concept: The “Champions” Cup will be presented at the Western Athletic Conference Track meet to the school which finished highest in points for all eligible league activities. All sports recognized by the League and where a champion is crowned will be counted towards Champions Cup points.
Trophy: Crystal bowl on pedestal with engraved logos of each conference school and the corporate sponsor.
Scoring: 12 pts – 1st Place, 8 pts – 2nd Place, 6 pts – 3rd Place, 4 pts – 4th Place, 0 pts – 5th Place, in case of a tie – track scoring method. In the event there is a tie in the final standings – the champion will be determined by the total number of 1st place finishes, followed by 2nd place finishes, etc. Each year (1) champion will be awarded the Champions Cup.
