DODGE CITY — The Western Athletic Conference boys soccer team has been released. After having the best season in Dodge City soccer history and making it all the way to state, several from Dodge City were named to the team, as well as head coach Virgil Hutchcraft being named coach of the year.

OVERLAND PARK — It was a bittersweet ending on Saturday when the Dodge City High School Demons lost to the Shawnee Mission-Northwest Cougars 2-0 in the consolation match at Class 6A state soccer.
DCHS coach Virgil Hutchcraft and the team felt the disappointment as they walked off the field. Hutchcraft said he is optimistic in that they made it to state, and can do it again next year.

DODGE CITY — They won't settle for just making it to the state tournament. After a 2-1 win over the Maize High School Eagles Tuesday night in the Class 6A quarterfinals, the Dodge City Red Demons are headed to the state tournament for the first time in school history in soccer on Friday

MAIZE — On Tuesday night, the Dodge City Red Demons again made school history by beating Maize to be the Demon team to make it to state.
The Demons (16-3) got a 2-1 victory over the Eagles to advance them to the Class 6A state tournament on Friday.

DODGE CITY — The Dodge City High School Red Demons had a lot to celebrate. First, they beat the Wichita Northwest Grizzlies 3-0 to become Class 6A South Central Region 2 Champions. Second, the win gave them an overall record of 15-3, which is the best record in DCHS soccer history.

DODGE CITY — Playing in a team concept, the Dodge City High School Red Demons shut out the Haysville-Campus Colts, 3-0, on Tuesday in the first round of Class 6A regional soccer.

DODGE CITY — They've already made school history. Tonight at 6, the Dodge City High School varsity soccer team will try to continue their run in the first round of Class 6A regionals against Haysville-Campus. The Demons are 13-3 overall, which is the best regular-season record in DCHS history.

WICHITA — Some losses hurt more than others.
Luckily, the 2-1 loss against the Wichita East Blue Aces doesn't really affect the Dodge City High School Red Demons varsity soccer team in the long run. Just a temporary setback.

Zabcikville, TX — It was Senior Night on Tuesday night. And, the Dodge City High School varsity soccer team went out with a bang. The Demons beat the Great Bend Panthers 7-2 in a cold, rainy game that was clearly all Dodge, which improved to 11-2 on the season.

DODGE CITY — They just needed some time. The Dodge City junior varsity Red Demons gave up an early goal to the Hays High Indians, but came back to win 5-1. "I thought we came out a little flat, and so we took some players out and told them to get a little more aggressive," coach Virgil Hutchcraft said. "After that, they took it to heart and went after them."

DODGE CITY — The Dodge City High School Red Demons varsity soccer team had to come-from-behind Tuesday night at Memorial Stadium. The Demons rallied to beat the Hays Indians, 3-1, improving to 9-2 on the season. "It was an ugly win for us," Dodge coach Virgil Hutchcraft said. "We came out flat and not quite as aggressive as we usually are. I didn't think technically and tactically that we were playing all that bad, but just behind in the game.

DODGE CITY — After two overtimes, it came down to the last minute for the Dodge City High School Red Demons soccer team Saturday at Memorial Stadium. The crowd held its breath as Alan Rojas kicked the final goal, winning the game 2-1 over the Garden City Buffaloes in double-overtime. "Two-to-one, which means we got our two victory over Garden, and we can't ask for more," Demons coach Virgil Hutchcraft said

DODGE CITY —
Dodge City High Red Demons boys soccer coach Virgil Hutchcraft said he and the team wanted to make a statement in their season opener at home against the Wichita South Titans Thursday.
Well, after a 6-0 shutout victory, they did just that.
